Shoes & Apparel
e.K. Clothing - Cute and inexpensive Salsa dresses, tops, pants, shoes, etc.  I have purchased
from them before and I was very pleased with their customer service.

Great Glam - Sexy club-style shirts with unique styles and cuts.  I personally have not purchased
from here yet, but I enjoy browsing their huge selection.

Mambo Fateegz - Many of the generic Salsa shirts you see the local dancers wearing comes
from Mambo Fateegz.  You can go to their online store OR you can find Choco, the mastermind
behind it all, at many of the East Cost Congresses.  Ask me for my personal collection if you
need to see the shirts in person.

Salstar Clothing - More Salsa shirts and recently added t-shirt dresses!  Guesley, who sells these
fab shirts, is a salsero in Canada, a great dancer and just an all-around nice guy.  Since they are
based out of Canada, we don't see them as often down here in the South, but you can visit
their online store.  You can also ask me to bring in one of my shirts for you to look at in person.

Gabellini Dance Shoes - They have great street/sneaker-looking shoes that are different from
any other dance shoe company I've seen.  Their new hot item is a dress shoe for men.  Check
out the site for more details and a list of Congresses they attend so you can try them on!

Albert Torres Online Store - Albert Torres is one of the most well-known salsa promoters in the
world.  My fav product from here is the DANCERS WALLET (that thing I wear on my arm at the
socials), however there are also instructional videos, performance videos and various CDs.

Edie, the Salsa Freak Online Store - Edie is a salsera who is also well-known across the globe.  In
her store she carries dancers wallets that are slightly wider than those of Albert Torres.  She
also has DVDs, posture braces, foot products and more.

Discount Dance Supply - The name says it all!  They are cheaper than most retailers and have a
wide selection of dancewear, shoes and essential accessories for salsa and all other styles of
dance.

On Your Toes - A local Tampa dance store (USF area) with dancewear and a small selection of
shoes.  They do not have a website, but their phone number is
813-989-1286.

Sports 4 Girls And Dance Too - A local Tampa dance and sports store with 2 locations, one on
South Dale Mabry (across from Britton Plaza) and one on North Dale Mabry.  They carry
various dance accessories and a small selection of shoes.
DSOL "The world's largest online resource for various kinds of
dance shoes including Ballroom, Latin, Salsa, Court, Ballet, Taps,
Jazz, Dance Sneakers, dancewear & dance accessories."
It is a great website for shoes at great prices with A LOT of
variety of styles, colors, materials and heel sizes/widths!  My
black heels are from here and I love them!

Salsa Videos & Online Communities
The Tampa Salsa Meetup Group - This group is moderated by yours truly and consists of a calendar
of Tampa Bay Area events including socials for all studios, festivals, new location openings,
concerts, etc.  It's a good way to keep your Salsa social calendar all in one place!  You can also RSVP
or see who else RSVP'd to any event so you can see which of your friends are going and who you
can carpool with!

iMambo.tv - iMambo has some of the best videos from events all around the world.  You could
spend hours on this site and learn so much from just watching!  There are many times when the me
and other Instructors start a story with "So I was watching iMambo and...".  Yup...it's THAT good.
They also have an online store and links to upcoming events.

Salsa Dynasty - The Dynasty is a Florida-based Salsa Community where you'll find many
participating Orlando, Miami and a few Tampa dancers.  Features include a Chat Room, Forum, Car
Confession videos, Dancing with Pepe videos, Interviews, Articles, Event Info and much more.

Born to Salsa a/k/a BTS - BTS is another Salsa Community that has focuses on Florida and a couple
other states.  They also have Event Info, Forums, ShoutBox, Photos, Videos, etc.  And they also
hold their own monthly social in Ft. Lauderdale.  See
Events page for more details.

Nuevotec - Nuevotec covers events mainly in the NJ/NYC/DC/Philly area and is all about videos!
They have performance videos and interviews at various events as well as a "salsamentary"
following 3 couples during competition time.

Youtube - Ok, so many people know what Youtube is, but not everyone thinks to search for dance
videos there.  If you only put "salsa" you'll get a lot of unrelated videos, but if you type in the name
of one of your fav, well-known dancers, there is plenty to look at.  Or you could always search for
"salsa congress" and a particular city for a wider variety of videos.  Or you can try searching "ON
2
Salsa" as well.
Music
Of course, iTunes and Amazon or any other website you use to download music works great, but
here are a few that are specific to Latin music and great Salsa music.

Latin Cool Now - This site has a large selection of Latin music of all types.  What I like best is that
they break it down into specific categories, so you know what you are listening to.  They also have
previews so you can hear before you buy.

Fania Records - Fania Records is behind many of Salsa's greatest artists such as Celia Cruz, Hector
Lavoe, Willie Colon, Eddie Palmieri, Johnny Pacheco, Larry Harlow...this list goes on and on and on
some more!  Their website gives you previews of the songs and the artists and various records they
have made over the years.  It's also a great way to familiarize yourself with these amazing and
well-known Salsa artists.  You can't go wrong with Fania music.
