I am so lucky to have such a wonderful
team of instructors.  I'm sure you'll
learn to love them as much as I do!
Instructors
TIFFANI, OWNER:  I am a South Jersey girl, but
I've now decided to make Tampa my home.  I started
dancing salsa while living in Salt Lake City in 2003 - LA
Style ON1 salsa, but I have ever...so...slowly converted
to loving NY Style ON2.  I've been an instructor for
about 2 years now and I have also worked with
several salsa dance teams.  I really enjoy creating
choreography and sharing my passion for the dance
with others.

What's my fav part about salsa?  Partner chemistry!

ANTHONY, INSTRUCTOR & MUSIC GURU:
Anthony was raised in the Chicagoland area and
attended college in MPLS Minnesota.  He was
honored to tour and record with various music
groups while studying in college, but eventually
got tired of the -25 degree winters and after
graduation decided to relocate to sunny FL.  He's
been dancing salsa since the summer of 2006 and
been an avid music lover since he was young.

What's his fav part about salsa?  The music!
APRIL, INSTRUCTOR:  (April has
recently left the Tampa area to pursue  more
traveling adventures and therefore will no
longer be teaching with Sabor, but if she ever
returns to this area, her place on our staff will
be waiting for her.  We miss her already!)
DAVID, INSTRUCTOR:  Of Puerto Rican
descent, David was raised in Brooklyn, but
now lives in Clearwater.  He started dancing
salsa in 2006 and became addicted right from
the beginning.  You can always find him on the
dance floor at almost every salsa event around!
When he's not dancing, he is also a Boxing
and MMA coach.

NALISIO, INSTRUCTOR & MUSIC GURU:
Nalisio was raised in many places, but joined
Tampa's salsa scene in January 2007.  He has a
Masters degree in Jazz Arranging/Composition and
you may have seen him playing the sax with many
bands around the Tampa Bay area.  Don't let the
serious face fool you, this Dominican is always
laughing!

TRACY, GUEST INSTRUCTOR:  Tracy was
born in New Orleans, LA but being the son of a career
military father grew up all over the US and Europe.
Tracy is a former Special Agent with the Dept. of
Defense, which has taken him to 50 states and a
comparable number of countries.  Some of his other
hobbies are martial arts (has been a black belt in Tang
Soo Do for almost 20 years), motorcycles, cars,
music, working out and jumping out of an occasional
airplane.  Tracy has a background in break dancing,
hip hop, some jazz and of course Cha Cha, and
Salsa/Mambo.  He began dancing in DC and the New
York area and was formerly one of the original
members of DC’s ClaveKazi Dance Company directed
by Shaka Brown.  He has taught and performed all
over the world and considers dance not only a hobby
but a cultural element in life that (if not dance,
something artistic) is critical to maintaining a healthy
emotional balance.
